Description

This is an upgrade kit that includes the necessary parts to add a double chainring crankset and a rear 4-sprocket cassette (11-13-16-20t) to your Brompton.

This kit can deliver a gear range of 318% (when combined with Ridea 53/39 chainrings) in a lightweight package

To fully convert your Brompton, you will also need the following parts:

  • A double chainring crankset (recommended chainline of 44 to 49 mm).
  • Depending on your current crankset and the double chainring crankset you are upgrading to, a bottom bracket change may be required.
  • A front derailleur.
